MACHINEMATE, INC. ANNOUNCES MARKET STRATEGY FOR
PC-BASED CNC BUSINESS

Fond du Lac, WI, September 9, 2000 - MachineMate, Inc. will continue working with machine tool OEM’s in Asia and North America as well as machine tool retrofitter/rebuilders that was begun by Giddings & Lewis CMS.  To bolster the North American business sector an independent dealer network will be established.   MachineMate, Inc. will continue to offer complete PC-Based CNC System solutions that include an industrial packaged PC with a Windows NT based operating system, digital servo drives, and CNC accessories.  MachineMate will add two lower priced CNC’s to its offering for the economical machine market. The ability for the MachineMate CNC to work with digital and analog drives makes it flexible to work on new high speed digital drive machining applications as well as for retrofits with analog servo drives.  The MachineMate CNC has software for turning and milling machine applications as well as special functionality for water jet, laser and many other applications.
